We had an incredible stay at Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella in Springbrook. Vanessa and Ebony, our hosts, made us feel like family and were extremely helpful in suggesting local attractions. the yurt accommodation was cozy, with a beautiful creek outlook and a toasty warm pot belly. the rustic amenities provided modern conveniences too. the location was truly magical, nestled in the rainforest next to the river that feeds Purling Brook waterfall. It felt like a secluded retreat where we could relax and feel isolated from the world. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious and healthy, and Ebony was a wonderful host. Cons: Nothing for me. ❤️.

amazing location at top of falls, yurt and atmosphere was lovely and peaceful, cheese/wine by fire in summer was special. No bugs bothered us. Loved being open to the elements and falling asleep to the waterfall.
no wifi connection.

The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location. We were able to go on walks that were just a short distance away. the staff were also very helpful and provided us with great suggestions of where to go and what to do. One of the highlights of our stay was the relaxing massage we had. Another advantage was the cozy fireplace in the house, perfect for cold evenings.
There were some downsides to our experience. there was a shortage of drinking glasses and mugs.

I particularly enjoyed the bonfire at night and the tranquil stream nearby. It was truly a little piece of paradise.
I did find that some of the amenities, such as towels and coffee, were not provided in the room.

What an incredible experience! We stayed at this unique hotel for a few nights and it was everything we could have hoped for. The location was perfect, with the national park and a stunning waterfall just a short walk away. The yurt we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The outdoor kitchen and shower with rainforest views added to the overall charm. Ebony, the host, was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was special. We were blessed with both thunderstorms and sunshine during our visit, and we made the most of both by cozying up by the fire on rainy nights and swimming in the creek on sunny days. it was a truly unforgettable stay.
Can just recommend this hotel.

From the moment we stepped into this divine retreat, we knew we had found heaven on Earth. The surrounding nature, with spectacular Purling Brook Falls, provided a breathtaking backdrop for our stay. Our host, Ebony, a knowledgeable National Park Ranger, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We loved sitting by the cozy fire, playing musical instruments and singing along. The food was delicious, especially the fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited food portions and some areas needing tidying up, we highly recommend Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella for an unforgettable and rejuvenating stay. we wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem.

Loved sleeping under a duck-down duvet, feeling like a fancy sheep in a yurt. The homemade meals were divine, just what I needed after a refreshing swim in the rainforest creek.
Oh, how I adored the squeaky bed frame. It was like having a concert every time I sat down.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be to have more choices available.
